This March 12th we present a special Music Night at the Tradewinds Bar for all. ‘The Works’ are so called as they perform many different styles of music from R&B, soul, and blues to pop, enabling them to appeal to a variety of musical tastes and audiences. They recently headlined a music festival here in Singapore and are current winners of the “Battle of the Bands’ competition.
About ‘The Works’:
Adi Rosdee (Keyboards - Singapore): Adi may be known to many of you from his appearances on local TV, or from his performances at many entertainment venues here in Singapore.
Michiel Regelink (Guitar -Holland): An extremely versatile guitarist, who has been involved in the music since an early age, winning his first award on national TV at the age of 16 and more recently voted ‘Best Guitarist’ at the Battle of the Bands Competition, Singapore.
Kevin Snowdon (England): is a well travelled and experienced Saxophone player who has performed with a number of UK Soul and Swing bands before joining us here in Singapore.
Whatt Kim Ong (Drums - Singapore): A veteran of the Singapore music scene having played at most major venues in Singapore over the last 30 years. He was recently awarded the ‘Best Drummer’ prize at the ‘Battle of the Band’.
Jerome (Bass - Phillipines): Jerome is also an extremely experienced player of both bass and guitar and is a much sought after teacher of both instruments here in Singapore. His love of all styles of music makes him an ideal candidate to join ‘The Works’.
Michael Coad (Vocals - Australia): Michael provides the band with it’s rock and blues essentials, performing many well known hits from the likes of Joe Cocker, the Doobie Brothers and Bad Company. In his native Australia, Michael has performed with rock bands in and around Brisbane.
Donna Doherty (Vocals - Scotland): Donna has performed in numerous musical events at a number venues in Bangkok, Manila, Hong Kong and now here in Singapore, entertaining a range of audiences from small exclusive groups such as the prestigious Heritage Club in Bangkok to audiences as large as 3,000 while performing as a backing singer for international artists. She was recently very honoured to have been invited to perform a jazz set (together with Adi and Michiel) for His Excellency President S R Nathan.
