The Hollandse Club

The Hollandse Club (‘Club’) (www.hollandseclub.org.sg)  is a family friendly, international club in a resort style setting. Job Description

As Front Desk Officer, you represent the Hollandse Club (´Club´) and welcome our Members and Guests. You report directly to the Front Desk Manager.

 

Customer Service

  • Welcomes members and guests and ensures they receive high quality service.

  • Assists and directs Members and Guests to the appropriate staff member as required.

  • Handles hotel check-ins and check-outs.

  • Handles facility bookings.

  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the Club: operations, activities, and events to respond to the needs of Members and Guests and to sell Club services as required. 

  • Re-directs calls and takes adequate messages when required.

  • Follows all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the best practice is carried out to give a seamless delivery of all services. 

 

Finance

  • Processes cash and card payments using Point of Sale (POS) system.

  • Produces the daily accounts report.

  • Performs stock taking.

 

Personal

  • Strives to make changes and implement best practice as required. 

  • Perform tasks as required by the Front Desk Manager or the Club. 

Requirements

  • Minimum N’ Level. Additional qualifications are a plus.

  • One or two years of experience in a similar field.

  • IT Literate – capable and willing to work with online systems and procedures. 

  • Representative, resourceful, flexible, and responsive in dealing with people.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

  • Initiative, meticulous, eye for detail, punctual and a team player.

  • Able to work under pressure and extra hours if needed.

  • Able to work daytime, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Salary Range

  • $1800 - $2500, depending on experience.
