Job Description

As Human Resource & Office Manager, you are part of the Management Team of the Hollandse Club. You report directly to the General Manger (GM). You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR practices, processes, and legislative compliance for the c. 25 members of permanent staff, ensuring the smooth running of the office on a daily basis, and providing support to the GM of the Club, and Management Team, as required. 

 

Human Resources

  • Perform monthly payroll and CPF processing, as well as annual IR8A submission.

  • Handle work pass issues such as applications, cancellations, and renewals.

  • Address employment relations issues.

  • Coordinate annual and bi-annual staff appraisals.

  • Assist with the performance management and review process.

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

  • Develop and maintain the Standard Operating Procedures and Employee Handbook.

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

  • Coordinate and support the recruitment process.

  • Determine suitable salaries and remuneration.

  • Onboarding and offboarding process.

  • Developing adequate induction and training.

  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.

  • Create and conduct staff surveys.

  • Provide support to staff in various HR-related topics such as leave, time management, and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Maintain HR filing system.

  • Ensure compliance with labour regulations / Employment Act.

  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.

  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.

  • Produce HR reports, presentations and briefs.

  • Liaise with corporate agent for Health Insurance matters.

Office Manager

  • Distribute correspondence.

  • Source office supplies and oversee maintenance of office equipment.

  • Maintain office filing system. 

  • Point of contact for IT matters and liaising with Club’s IT engineers.

Support to GM/ Management Team

  • Managing diary, scheduling meetings, taking minutes. 

  • Managing MT Duty Management Rota. 

  • Any other related duties as assigned.  

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Studies and/or related fields.

  • Knowledge and experience of Singapore legislation. 

  • At least five (5) years of proven work experience in a similar field.

  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.  

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

  • Initiative, meticulous, eye for details and a team player.

  • Resourceful, flexible, and responsive in dealing with different people.

  • Fun and creative; imaginative in thinking of ways to make the workplace a great place to be. 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

  • Up-to-date with latest office applications.

  • Knowledge of HR Tools and systems.

  • Discretion and confidentiality.

  • Affinity with IT matters.
