MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Description
The Hollandse Club is looking for an experience Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will be part of the Maintenance team and report directly to the Facilities Manager.
The Maintenance technician:

Schedules and completes a preventive maintenance program.

Carries out improvement, maintenance and repair work on all building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements.

Performs daily start up, shutdown and inspection of building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements.

Performs maintenance work related to mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (acmv) systems, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.

Repairs and treats structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors.

Follows up promptly on maintenance / ad-hoc work orders.

Assist vendor/stakeholders as and when required
-
Is aware of and advises on matters related to Health & Safety.

Takes daily/ weekly utilities readings.

Assists in emergencies, firefighting, and emergency evacuation procedures.

Minor pool maintenance may be required.

Coordinates special projects as directed.

Attend to after office hour calls if required

Any other jobs or assignments as directed by Facilities Manager or Estates Director.
Requirements:
-
Must possess minimum NTC II/Nitec certificate in facilities/electrical.

At least 2 years’ experience in hands on maintenance and repair work

Experienced in aircon maintenance and minor repair

Experienced and competent in electrical installation, trouble shooting and electrical parts replacement

Knowledge of AV system - set up and installations.

Able to communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Resourceful, flexible, and responsive in dealing with people.

Physically fit and eye for detail.

Team player and able to work independently.

Able to work shifts that include weekends and public holidays.
Salary Range:
-
$2000 - $2500 per month (skills dependent)
