Yoga for Athletes is not athletic yoga. The goal of this class is to restore balance. You‘ll learn the basics of a yoga practice and experience ease of movement in your body, helping you to avoid injury. This class will address any imbalances in your body by building strength and stability in underdeveloped areas, and will reduce tension and enhance mobility in overdeveloped areas. As with all our classes, they are accessible to all body types. Our goal is for you to leave class feeling looser and calmer than when you walked in.

Yoga for Athletes is appropriate for both beginners and more seasoned yogis, great for athletes looking to complement the sports they love. It will also do wonders for desk sitters and for anyone else that needs to stretch.

Yin yoga is a more quiet and gentle practice suitable for all levels of practitioners, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy yoga practice! Yin yoga works deeply into our body by placing an emphasis on holding each posture for a long duration with the muscles relaxed to target the deep connective tissues throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints, to improve flexibility and it also helps us to regulate the body’s flow of energy.

9.00am - 10.00am

(M) $27.00

Hatha Flow is a bit faster pace and suitable for intermediate yoga practitioners with a consistent practice. Hatha Flow builds on the necessary body stability acquired in Hatha Basic to take on more challenging asanas and sequences. Classes are taught with modifications to allow an easy transition from Hatha Basic.
