RestorativeYoga.jpg

RESTORATIVE AND SOUND YOGA

Sun | 10.15am - 11.30am

This therapy class involves participants to be in the most supportive position using as many props available so they would be free of any tension. This encourages physical, psychological, and emotional calmness and relaxation. It is a passive practice with positions held in long periods of time between 2 and 5 minutes. When coupled with Sound Therapy, the session may bring the mind to a state of Theta brain frequency that promotes integral healing; not just healing the symptom of the diseased body but the control centre of the body, mind, spirit. Healing musical instruments such as singing bowls, rain stick, drums, chimes and gongs may be played to amplify the healing process.
